DDC News Jan 2020

Hi All, we had an exceptional 2019, bar the loss of our Principal Pat Dougall.Peta Dougall has stepped up to the plate ,even though filling Pat Dougall’s dance shoes will be quite a challenge.Peta has already proven that she has all the right attributes to succeed.
It is full steam ahead for us as our classes kick off on Mon Jan 20.Further details will be available on our DDC blog We have a full calendar and will be posting updates as we sail through 2020.
Another big thank you to all those who made our year-end get together super memorable, especially The Sayeds; Veronica and Mxolisi.

Our wish for everyone is to improve their lives through dancing and flourish and prosper in 2020

DDC Nov News

Hi All, it has been a month of beautiful sadness, of rises and falls- Pat Dougall our Founder and principal sadly passed away on 29 Oct 2019 #GoneButNeverToBeForgotten.

Peta Dougall celebrated her 60th birthday this week

In other news we are starting our last course for the year on Friday 15 Nov. Then there is the Durban  Stars Competition being held on Sat 16 Nov at the Portugese hall in Glenmore .Also, we will be hosting a year-end Party /practice session on Mon 02 Dec-details to be posted.

OCT News 2019

Hi All, this past month was very busy with back to back bookings -lots of last minute first dances. Speaking of which, we got an outstanding review from one of the many happy customers.Thank you Christina

In other news looking forward to tomorrows competition in Amanzimtoti,’where Brad and Gabi will be in full dress for their section. Also, we have one more course left for the 2019 season. It will be a 4 week Latin course-Jive and Bachata for beginners, starting in November.

DDC SEPT NEWS 2019

Spring is in the air and it is time to add some flair. Part of your plan for summer and the festive season should be to be a shiny and new you.To achieve this you should; do something different; learn a new skill, which will give you self-confidence like dancing. You should UPSIZE your life and Do more, Be more and Have more.

AS mentioned previously, we are changing the way we do things -we are now able to offer dance lessons at our place of residence, we are also offering a mobile service [we come to you]-YES! we will teach you in the comfort of your home or at another premises where there is the require space ,like a wedding venue.

DDC NEWS JULY 2019

We have had an interesting past month with lots of new developments-to be announced .We are now preparing for expansion on various Levels too. We will also be celebrating our Principal Pat Dougall’s Birthday this month, she still coaches Ballroom at 90 yrs of age..Our next beginner Ballroom and Latin class starts Friday 19 th July and our new beginner Line dance class starts Wed 17 th.Please notify family and friends.

Nelson Mandela Day is on the 18 th July, we encourage people to participate in the various Nelson Mandela Day activities-let’s make a difference.

Hi All , just a reminder we are offering a 10 % commission for all DDC members (credited to your account ) for every couple you refer that signs up for our 8 week beginner course starting at 19:30 on Friday 24 May.Venue is St thomas and the cost is R1200 per couple .

For those of you who have paid in full and completed a previous course (but missed a lesson or two), you are welcome to come brush up on your dancing on this course at N/C
